My research program focuses on the evolutionary, developmental, and cultural origins of human thought. I am currently working as a post-doctoral fellow in the Laboratory for Developmental Studies with Dr. Susan Carey at Harvard University. My post-doctoral work is focuses on investigating the development of complex sequence representation and number acquisition in children.

I received my PhD from the department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester with Dr. Jessica Cantlon. My dissertation focused on the evolutionary and developmental origins of number cognition, recursive sequencing, logic, and metacognition.
